All great builders know that any well built structure is based on a sure and firm foundation. Without a solid foundation, no building can stand the test of time and all that it brings.  Foundations are established firstly, in order to provide the strength, support, and stability needed for the structural components above it to function and last.  

       There are many different types of foundations - suited for various structural styles and environmental requirements.  Poured concrete foundations, permanent wood foundations, and raised foundations generally comprise the most common types of foundations found under Florida Homes.  

       At Wozniak Builders, we strongly encourage you to do periodic property inspections - in an effort to identify any foundational failure as early as possible - because the longer foundational issues are left unaddressed, the greater the long term cost potential becomes.  When conducting such inspections - here are some key signs/symptoms to look for throughout your home concerning faulty foundations:

This role supports daily office operations and plays a key role in light bookkeeping, permit tracking, and coordination with local building departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage office communications including phone, email, and scheduling

• Maintain digital and paper filing systems for project records

• Assist with data entry and reconciliation in QuickBooks or equivalent

• Track and submit permitting applications and follow up with municipalities

• Support Project Managers with subcontractor documents, contracts, and insurance

• Help maintain accurate project records and client correspondence

• Order office and jobsite supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in administrative roles (construction industry a plus)

Mr. David Daniel Jordan

Meet Mr. David Daniel Jordan, a WW2 and Korean War veteran. Mr. Jordan came by the office not long ago to ask if Wozniak Builders knew anyone whom was able to fix the nearby retirement communitites flag pole that was damaged during the hurricane last year. Fast forward to this special moment where we were honored to help Mr. Jordan raise the American Flag. It was a strong reminder that we are all through Gods grace extremely fortunate to be able to serve others, and specifically in this instance, it was for an individual that spent a great deal of his life in service to us.
